Her days of searching for cards began when she opened an old book in her fathers library. Sakura Kinomoto, a fourth grader, plays an active role as a Cardcaptor in order to collect the Clow Cards which bring disaster to the world!

Cardcaptor Sakura is a manga series written and illustrated by the renowned Japanese manga artist group CLAMP. There have been over 22 million copies sold worldwide.

The first anime adaptation of the series was made in 1998 by NHK (Japan Broadcasting Corporation) and became a popular anime series for children all around the world. Fans and critics praised the manga and anime for the creativity and elaborate artwork.

Celebrating their 25th anniversary in 2021, they are currently looking for licensees who want to add nostalgia and “kawaii” to their products in 2023. Some of the recent licensees they have worked with include video platforms, pharmaceuticals, convenience stores, and cosmetics brands.
